The Original Violight Toothbrush Sanitizer

VIO150 Violight Countertop Sanitizer

How do I clean my Violight Countertop Sanitizer?

Use a damp cloth for the outside surfaces. The removable drip cup inside the Violight can be thoroughly washed in soapy water to remove any residue from your toothbrush. NEVER immerse the base in water, or place under running water for any reason. Do not fill the base with any liquid. The frosted cap and the VIOpegs can also be rinsed in warm water whenever necessary. Remember to always shake excess water off of brush before inserting, and clean the drip tray at least once a week.

How do I Replace the UV Bulb?

To reduce the risk of electrical shock or injury always unplug the unit before cleaning or replacing the bulb. The UV Germicidal bulb has a life span of over 2,000 hours. As with any bulb, efficiency decreases with time. We recommended you change the bulb at least once a year. Remove the drip cup and using a soft cloth or tissue unscrew the bulb by gently rotating counterclockwise. Do not squeeze the bulb too hard or bend from side to side.

Using a tissue or soft cloth, screw the new bulb securely into its socket at the bottom center of the unit by gently turning clockwise. As soon as you feel resistance, STOP turning. Do not over-tighten the UV bulb.

Additional Trouble:

If for any reason your unit fails to work after pressing the on/off button, check for the following:

Did you press the VIO button hard enough?
Unplug and check if the bulb is loose and needs tightening or if the filament is broken and bulb needs to be replaced.
Is cap on securely and properly locked into position?
Does the unit require fresh batteries?

Zapi Toothbrush Sanitizer

VIO800 Zapi Toothbrush Sanitizer

How do I clean my Zapi?

Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. To clean the interior drip cup, hold the bottom of the Zapi firmly in one hand, and with your other hand squeeze and lift the top cap up and off. If you have trouble removing the cap, use a coin to gently pry the cap off at the seam around the center of the Zapi. Remove the drip tray and use warm water and mild soap to rinse the tray clean, then re-assemble. Remember to always shake excess water off of brush before inserting, and clean the drip tray at least once a week.

External light is blinking but the internal germicidal light is not turning on:

This indicates it's time to change the batteries.
Unscrew the Bottom of the unit. Always put in new batteries.
Please only use Alkaline batteries.
When new batteries are inserted and the Zapi is reassembled, and the button is pressed, the internal UV light will come on.
Remember to always shake excess water off of brush before inserting, and clean the drip tray at least once a week.
